As training is at the heart of yachting’s development and to attract a new generation, for the last ten years La Belle Classe Academy has been passing on its heritage through training programmes for owners, captains and other professionals. YCM’s training centre offers a wide range of courses covering navigation modules with a strong focus on etiquette, protocol and the finer arts of a certain lifestyle at sea. The goal is to ensure a level of excellence and promote yachting trades in a thriving sector.
Training future generations
Dedicated to anyone involved in yachting (captains, managers and other professionals), crew members and future owners, the Yacht Club de Monaco’s training centre alternates navigation and pleasure boat courses, with the aim being to support the young generation.

This Summer La Belle Classe Academy and Seascope France are giving all 16-22 year-olds the chance to spend up to 2 weeks learning how to drive power boats, jet skis, give First Aid, Fight Fires and survive in a life raft at sea.
The UIM E1 World Championship sees launch of the very fi rst Pilot Academy for all-electric boats. Organised in Monaco, the courses off er selected pilots the chance to compete in iconic locations aboard E1’s electric race boat, RaceBird.

Our instructors come from diverse professional backgrounds, united by a common goal: to share their passion and expertise with every student.
YCM’s La Belle Classe Academy training centre has expanded its range of certifi ed
courses, as it can now deliver the Powerboat Level 2 courses all year round. Th e training centre also off ers RYA (Royal Yachting Association) certifi cation and can therefore train adults and young people from 16 years old to drive motorboats up to 10m in length.
